TagBall Touch Football Team/League/Tournament "Plan of Action"

Since American football is so popular, enhancing a safer and faster way to play non contact football can be developed quite easily through the versatile TagBall equipment. Tagging the players with the taggers instead of pulling a flag can become the revolution of playing the classic of touch football with validity. Therefore this message is intended as a possible suggestive plan of action. You may need to keep the program for the school age gender specific until the age 18 and older. Everyone needs permission waivers to participate. In some states we have both type.

The politics dictate the what takes place. Feel out the situation. The biggest fear of the coed situation is the opposite sex touching and the accusations that can occur. All male and Female teams/league work well almost any place and any time. Coed programs attract the college and above age participant. In that situation start a league perhaps with the medical college. All you need to do is to play five on five and try to sign up at least 8 teams. A team can have up to 7 with two subs. The cost will be in house after product purchase, and TagBall membership card, generally $30-$35. This cost may vary depending on situation. Then allow organizations to develop their functional operations for a six week Independent league/tournament, or in house structured programs, like Recreation centers and, schools. Most operations will be based on volunteer support, in house staffs and nominal fees for the products, administration materials, 2 refs for about 6-7 weeks, field or gym space.

The season structure will be based on. generally 2 games per week or perhaps two games in one day. Then a 7th week playoff Tournament will declare the league winner. Games are generally 20 minutes per half. That's generally a typical PE period. Offences must score without the benefit of 1st down repeats. A set of downs are given on each possession. No first down repeats. Just 6 downs for a 50 yd field and 9 downs to score on a 80 -100 yd field. Indoors like basketball size area stick with 5-6 downs. No Kicking off rule. Teams begin on the their 5 yd line to begin the half and after scores. Then whatever yd. line the ball was at after the series of downs ended without a score. Generally the rules follow regular football rules for touch and flag football. The change comes down to a valid method of being touch. All player wear taggers on wrist or under vest as not to confuse refs who has been tagged. When the defense needs to make the tag, they pull out from under the vest or from the writ the taggers to mark the stoppage of the opponent just as pulling the flag does the same thing as a method of stoppage of a play.
